These 8 locations were provided after the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation requested information on the possible locations for a casino from Wasaga Beach, Clearview Township, Springwater Township and Collingwood. All of these municipalities were identified as part of the C7 zone which covers the area where there is a potential for opening a gaming facility.

In Wasaga Beach, there are possible locations near Highway 26. The fourth locations is at Beach Area 2 on a property which is currently run by Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. If Wasaga is going to have a Casino it needs to be away from public places like Beach Area 2. I can see it now, parents during the summer going into the Casino while their kids are left on the beach unsupervised.

It should be at the west end of town so it can service Collingwood, and Stayner.
